The Weighted Lap Pad is a versatile tool designed to provide calming sensory input and support focus in a variety of settings. With a soft, grey cover featuring a minky dot texture on one side and a smooth surface on the other, it offers both tactile variety and comfort. Filled with non-toxic glass beads, the pad provides evenly distributed weight to deliver deep pressure input, helping to promote relaxation, self-regulation, and improved concentration.
Ideal for use in classrooms, clinics, at home, or on the go, the lap pad is discreet and easy to place across the lap, shoulders, or chest. The gentle weight can help reduce restlessness, ease anxiety, and encourage stillness during seated activities such as reading, writing, therapy sessions, or group learning.
From an occupational therapy perspective, weighted lap pads are most effective when used in short sessions of 15–20 minutes at a time, or as recommended by an OT. They can be used multiple times a day to provide calming input, but should be monitored to ensure comfort and effectiveness.

How to Use
